Walking through creating this budget tracker template as an exercise and I wanted to look at the XLS files driving the app. However, I can not physically find these XLS files once the app is created. I was under the impression the app would create a folder on my onedrive, but that didn't happen and the app still functions. Is this template holding all these values in memory? Is there no link to the data source(xls file) from within studio?

I think this is the same issue as the one that's mentioned here.

If you create the app from within PowerApps studio itself, you can specify the location of the Excel file and retrieve it that way.
