Image Storage - Maximum image size?

I'm trying to do some planning for a table that will have a lot (10s of thousand) of rows and each row will have an image stored in a Column.

Does the value we set for the "Maximum image size" property on the column impact the amount of storage the table will use? I'm just trying to confirm that we Dataverse isn't allocating that much space for every row even if the images we are loading are considerably smaller.

Thanks!
I have the same question (0)

The file column use the File Databse, instead of Data Storage. If you have less space in data storage and a lot in File Storage you don't need to worry about it.

You can find more information here.

Hi... can you tested?. Create a table in Dataverse with an image column and insert some records, after a few hours check in admin.powerplatfrom.microsoft.com the capacity used:

Answering another thing. No Dataverse will not reserve the image size, this is just a configuration to limit the usage. If you increase and after decrease the value will not lose the file, but if you delete and try to upload again will not be allowed.

That sounds like a lot of storage space. I'd consider parking the images in a low cost storage like azure blob storage
