I want to change AppID(maybe) to Bot Name. Bot name has Japanese characters.How can do ?
I have same issue.. Bot name is correct in PVA and also in teams "about" section.. however in the teams chat, bot name displayed with weird characters "01ceef21........."... I did change bot name and published couple of times and nothing has changed..
Any ideas ?

In the “Channel” section you can “Disconnect bot from Teams”, then edit the name and wait for the replication, delete your history and old conversations in Teams, finally publish again and add new BOT App in Teams.
What helped me was to sign out and then sign in to Teams.
