Updating SharePoint Item when Dataverse Row is Modified

Hi all,

I have a flow setup currently, so that when a new row is added to a Dataverse table, a folder is created in a SharePoint list. The current problem that I am having with the automation, is that when a row is modified (name changes), it is creating a new folder instead of updating the existing folder. What would be the best way of going about creating a flow that interprets the row is modified, and updates the corresponding folder in SharePoint?

Thanks,

Kody

    Hi @EMKody

Store the Folder URL in that Record and Get the File Metadata and update the record.

Lets wait for others feedback as well

Are you able to go into detail a little bit about the steps to do that? I added a 'FolderURL' column to my customer table so it is included in the dataverse row, but I am unsure of how I would have the flow check that the URL already exists and rename or create a new folder accordingly.

I now have added a few steps in my flow, so that once a new folder is created, the URL of the folder gets added into that folders Dataverse row. I am now trying to create a flow for when the Dataverse row is modified, to get the metadata from the corresponding folder using the URL, but I am unsure of what steps to add in order to rename the folder.
