I have a table and I have set row level security for it, now I want to make a Microsoft Teams team owner of the the record. So that if I share a record with a team and add some new users to the team in future the new users will also get access to the record.

Is it possible?

I have the same question (0)

    Hello, thanks for reaching out.

There is no direct way to do this. You could create explore Power Automate Flow. I am not sure if it has an action for adding a team member but I would imagine it does. The flow could monitor the Teams Team and when a member is added it adds the user to a team in dataverse. Keep in mind all members of teams in dataverse have to be licensed users. Given that licensing is not a requirement for Teams membership you may not be able to do what you are asking.

Please mark as a solution or give a kudos if this helped.

    Have a great day!

If you have an Azure environment with Entra Id set up (most likely), you can add the team to the environment from the Admin Centre.
This will add the team as an entity and sync the members with Entra, any new members will have access.
After adding the team you can set the owner of the record to this team.

You can set the team type to office group
