Hi,
I have a combobox with Office365User search. By default it shows few users in the combobox dropdown. Is there a way to hide the list of default users and only populate the dropdown only after the user types in the combobox search.
Thanks,
Kranthi
You can do several things with this. If your wanting anything to happen after to select a name in the Combo box you probably need to make sure the option to Select mulitples is turned off.
Who are you wanting it to default to..the current user?
The issue is that when i use Office365Users.SearchUser({searchTerm:"Combobox.searchtext"}).displayname and load the app.
Before i enter any search text and click on the chevronicon it shows the list of users and i dont want that.
Hi @KranthiTupakula ,
Good question! I'm not really sure of a way to do this. Dropdown controls have a "DelayOutput" Property that is used for this type of thing, but ComboBoxes do not have this Property.
Attached is a hack attempt at accomplishing what you need using a Textbox and a Search Icon to feed the ComboBox its Items. This would likely not work in production, but may lead you to a solution.

Good luck!
I would just make that not visible until they have selected something. So the Visible property of the Combo box to If(!IsBlank(ComboBox.Selected.Value), true, false).
Thanks for the response. I will post it in the ideas forum.
