We've built a live status report for a production hall (several production lines making food products), and i want to display this on a tv in the production area. This report updates every minute with the volumes made. I've got the tv, tried loading up the application via both a fire stick and a google chrome dongle but on neither could i get the powerapps application loaded..i'd expected to be able to do so via the google store same as some tablets that run the app but they're (the tv, the dongles) are not having it.
So, I could glue a laptop to the back of the tv, with the application loaded on it, but surely there must be another way. The tv does connect to the wifi network, but there's no hard wiring possible.
I'm trying to avoid paying for ongoing subscriptions to the very many companies out there offering digital signage software etc - I feel that as I've got the power app application built and i don't want or need templates etc, why do i need to then get something else to display it.
If you know how to help, please imagine you're explaining the solution to a five year old!
