How can i create an API from the existing agent, I would like to integrate this API with my domain for a chatbot. Is this possible?

I have developed a copilot that is integrated with a SharePoint site. Is it possible to retrieve responses from this copilot using Postman?

How can I create an API from the agent?

Hello,

currently there's no option to grab the responses when the bot is created in Copilot Studio. If you need this kind of functionality, I'd suggest you should create a chatbot in Azure AI Foundry (former Azure AI Studio) and then communicate with the model deployed. Here's a doc describing that: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/ai-studio/what-is-ai-studio.

How can I create an API from the agent?

Hello,

the setup is a little bit more complicated, let me break it down:

1. You need to create Azure AI Search resource and add a connection to it (see here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/ai-studio/how-to/connections-add).

2. In AI Search, you should use Sharepoint indexer (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/search/search-howto-index-sharepoint-online#limitations-and-considerations) - it's in preview and there's a statement that it's not guaranteed that it'll be GA.

3. When the files from SP are indexed, the model can access them by using vector search.

Overall, if you'd like to connect to the Sharepoint library, I'd recommend you to use Copilot Studio, even though you cannot use Postman.
