Insert Model Driven App on SharePoint site?

I am a Zoho Analytics user where I can easily create a link on a SharePoint site to any Zoho report or Dashboard. This is because Zoho lets you easily copy the URL of any object in Analytics and paste it. I am unable to this using MS Model Driven forms. I know Zoho is a more advance, modern platform that MS Power Platform, but I was assuming something as simple as embedding a Model Driven form onto a SharePoint site would be a no brainer. Is this possible? If so, what am I missing?

This should be doable. What is happening when you try to embed the model driven form url? Is there an error?

Thanks for the reply. I don't think we are on the same page here. After a few hours of research (a frustrating misuse of my time), I now know that you can only share a model driven form on a Teams channel but not on a SharePoint site, which is really lame. Dataverse/ Model Driven forms don't have the option to generate embed code, so you are probably thinking of Teams, not SharePoint.

Creating embed code from a form should be a feature any modern platform like Zoho others have. I can't imagine why offering a simple feature like this is not offered.  I am still trying to determine if I am wasting my time attempting to use it a platform that seems to have been built in an ad hoc fashion layered on 1990's technology. I mean, who seriously uses this platform?

Ok, I'm not aware of an embed code for a model-driven form that can be used but if SharePoint has a way to iframe in another website, it might be doable to put in a url to a model-driven form. A Canvas App is probably better for that scenario though.

It's probably due to security policies.  Not everything works in an iframe/embed due to content security policy /CORS policies.

I know you can embed a Model-Driven App into a Portal Page in the same environment, I've done that before.

You CAN also embed a SharePoint site into a Model-Driven App page using Web Resources, I've done that as well.  That could be a way to combine your SharePoint and Model-Driven App user experience if that's what you need to do.

    Mark,

I don't think it is a security issue. The SHARE button does not work. MS probably hasn't fixed this bug yet. Power Platform is not a serious platform.
