Newbie here! Power Apps was just released in our organization and I am hoping to use it to streamline some processes and cut down on the number of emails.
Here's what I'm hoping to do:
- Step 1: Individual log-ins for those who are completing the onboarding. Since there is confidential information they should only be able to view the candidates that they are onboarding
- Step 2: An intake form that will populate various onboarding documents. This is where it gets complicated. If the candidate is hired as a researcher the intake form should populate forms A, B, and C. However, if the candidate is hired as tech support the intake form should populate forms A, D, and E.
- Step 3: At this point we need to 'save and return'. Since step 2 populates documents such as the offer letter, there needs to be an option to download/save to PDF so it can be sent to the candidate for signature.
- Step 4: When returning back, need to have the ability to upload the signed documents. Once they are received and uploaded, have the ability to email automatically to someone outside of our company for additional onboarding.
Another nice to have is a tracking system so those submitting the documents can see if the onboarding documents have been accepted. But also for the receiving department to be able to see what is in progress and will be coming.
Any suggestions on training videos or templates that may have already been developed that I can modify would be greatly appreciated. TIA
