Issue with Gallery Control in PowerApps

Hello,

I’m currently experiencing an issue with the gallery control in PowerApps. Whenever I try to change the layout to include images, the app keeps loading and doesn’t display the images. This issue occurs regardless of the layout I choose.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

  • Checked the data source for the gallery and ensured it’s set up correctly and accessible.
  • Tried using different layouts.
  • Made sure the gallery is at the front of the screen.
  • Updated PowerApps to the latest version.
  • Cleared browser cache and tried accessing the app in a different browser.

Despite these efforts, the problem persists. I would appreciate any assistance or suggestions on how to resolve this issue.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Best, Ahmed Al3mri.

Bummer to hear your PowerApps gallery is acting up. Let's tackle this puzzle. Here are a few things to check:

Image URL Format: Make sure your image URLs speak the gallery's language. Sometimes they can be a bit picky.

Image Visibility: See if your images are camera shy. Try popping one outside the gallery using an Image control and see if it's up for a solo performance.

Image Column Binding: Confirm the Image control inside the gallery is on the same wavelength as your data source's image column.

Test with Sample Data: Throw in some dummy data, see if it's the app or your actual data causing the ruckus.

Slow Data Loading: Big data might take its sweet time. Check the size and loading time.

Check Permissions: Make sure your images have the VIP pass and there's no backstage drama with permissions.

Preview Mode: Give it a test run in preview mode. Is it a PowerApps editor issue or an app hiccup?

If the gremlins are still at play, maybe a chat with Microsoft Support could untangle this mess.

Fingers crossed for a smooth gallery ride! Let me know how it shakes out. 🚀
