Only first 20 imported

Only the first 20 rows are being imported into the dataverse. Yes and yes I know that's by default before the one guy in here comes in hot and angry! I let the table sit overnight for 12 hours, refreshed and did an export to confirm that nothing is changed.

All my other excel files loaded file but they didn't have 600 rows. I think less than 200.

I've tried this three times and the same result. What can be done?
I have the same question (0)

    HI,

Well.... umm... only you sound angry :-)

    1. You said you imported into Dataverse, but didn't mention into what or the data source so I will assume excel?

    2. While it only Previews the first 20, I am unaware of any configuration that actually makes it do 20. Can you please share a picture of the Table, where it only did 20 after (sometimes and it stinks I've had people wait days), It can take a long time (which is ugg).

    3. are you going to the Table and choosing import or are you using the bulk import wizard?

    Cheers.

I am because the last post I made I got an incredibly rude and unnecessary response. So a very good reason to set an expection that if you decide to engage, be helpful and kind.

Yes as mentioned all the other excel files imported fine with all the data.  During the import it says that there is about 610 rows so it can read them, but when I scroll left or right on the table I don't get an additional scrollbar to slowly expand the other rows like the other excel files I've loaded.

I go into edit table mode and the scroll bar never expands

Most likely only 20 rows are error free and the other rows have some kind of problem during import.

Can you try the following instead?

    1. Create a view with all the columns of the excel table that you are importing
    2. Create a simple model driven app with the dataverse entity
    3. Go to the Entity and select Excel Template -> Download a Template. Select the view you just created.
    4. In the template, it will show you what format the data must be for the import. You can then paste the other rows according to the same format.
    5. Go back to your model driven app again, and select Excel Template -> Upload Template. Now, you should be lead to a status page which shows your import. If there is an error, you will also be able to download an error report to troubleshoot the issue.

Please let me know if this helps with your import issue.
