Hello All,
We've successfully created and deployed a BOT, to be used through Teams app.
We've embedded two modules/Flows in BOT (expense and leave requests).
Everything works fine, to me and an another administrator who make the testing.
But we've run into a serious operation issue - same applies for both of requests.
User triggers BOT, BOT asks questions about leave type, dates start/end, manager's email for the requests to be approved BUT,
Sending e-mail is BOT's e-mail, or any other that we authorize through Flow connections.
Can we somehow authorize the BOT to send the approval e-mails, from User's original email?
Delegation is excluded from any scenario due to security reasons.
Your inputs will be highly appreciated.
Hi,
I have created my bot on teams with the pva plugin. In the analytics section I am unable to see the number of times a certain topic was triggered as that would really help me to refine the bot for the use of my company. The analytics it shows me does not help me very much as of now. I request you to please help.
Hi @shivang1
This sounds like a Power Automate question.
Can you start a new thread in Microsoft Power Automate Community - Power Platform Community?
Henry
Hi,
I have created a app where i email the user certain documentations. Whenever the documentation reaches the user it reaches them by the name of "Microsoft Power Apps" which does not always reach the user as this is an external mail in my firm and they generally block it. Can change this and make the email sender from my email id??
Hey, i cant find any information on the link you sent "Run flow connectors as the user | Microsoft Docs"
is there something I'm missing here?
Hi @RaidenEXE ,
Thanks for that!
I hope to have this feature available soon: Run flow connectors as the user | Microsoft Docs
Hi to both!
I talked with Renato on LinkedIn because I'm in the same situation.
I'm posting here to be updated when the feature will be available.
Thanks a lot!
Regards
Hi @tsikitsiki ,
It's not available yet, but it's already planned by Microsoft, they are working on it.
The initial planned delivery was January 2021: Run flow connectors as the user - Power Platform Release Plan | Microsoft Docs
If I saw something related to this update, I return back to you.
Thanks!
