Modern form control - Error "Document API document.importcomponentsasync"

Hi all, 

 

Have been trying to utilise the new modern form control to interact with a sharepoint list.

 

I get the error:

An error occurred in Document API document.importcomponentsasync

I've confirmed the list works with the classic form editor

 

Any guidance on this issue?
