Hi,

I have a SharePoint online list with some fields being date format - i am trying to add data from an excel file into my list using the list rows present in table action then create item action - however the flow keeps failing due to date format from excel not being in correct format I get below error:

error power app.png

I have tried formatting the date in excel to yyyy-MM-dd as other posts have commented but I still continue to get this error. Any ideas how I can get the excel data into the format power app will accept.

    Hi @sjb2020 ,

    Format your date in Excel as Text and send Text(YourDate,"dd/mm/yyyy") or whatever your date format is.

    Please click Accept as solution if my post helped you solve your issue. This will help others find it more readily. It also closes the item. If the content was useful in other ways, please consider giving it Thumbs Up.

    @sjb2020

    It looks like you're receiving this error from the Flow, rather than Power Apps. In this case, you can call the formatDateTime function against the input Excel date value in your create_item action.
