App LifeCycle - what's the correct use of environments?

Hi, i'm using power app since few months and i'm wondering what is the right way to use envinroment in a standard App Lifecycle. Could you please suggest me the best practices?

Let's think of the simples scenario, I want to develop one app, send it to test, then to production and finally while the app is live and used by different users, i want to start develop a new feature.

In my mind i have two different flows that could work in such scenario.

FLOW A

  1. I create a new Sandbox Environment
  2. I create a new app in that environment and share it with other devs
  3. Once the app is ready for test, i share the link of the app in the Sandbox Env with testers
  4. Once the app is tested i go to the Environment settings and Convert to Production
  5. When i want to develop a new feature i convert again to sandbox and i can start developing while users could still access the app as if it was on Production

FLOW B

  1. I create a new Sandbox Environment and a new Prod Environment
  2. I create a new app in that environment and share it with other devs
  3. Once the app is ready for test, i share the link of the app in the Sandbox Env with testers
  4. Once the app is tested i go to the Environment settings and copy it to the Prod Environment
  5. When i want to develop a new feature i just keep working on my Sandbox Env and when ready to deploy I copy it again to the Prod env

Which one is the right flow? is there a better flow that i didn't think of?

Another question is: If i use to make apps for different tasks, should i use a new env for each apps or should i just create 1 Sandbox and 1 Prod Environment where i put all my apps?

Thanks in advance

You need to manage your Apps and Flows in a Solution. I made a 3 video series that explains how to migrate Solutions from Development to Test and Production.

Power Apps Creating Environments and Solutions. Part 1 - Application Lifecycle (ALM) Series - YouTube

As far as your other question goes you can create different Apps in different Solutions in the Same environment then migrate Solutions one at a time to the other environments.
