Useing Links to App in different Environments

Hey together.

I have following Scenario. My default Environment in my Company is where all Apps are for all Locations. However one Location now has a Separate Environment.

I have App links Linked to different SharePoint Icons on my home page of SPO.

The users that need to use both Environments sometimes run into an error message . (i think because the environment is not switched automatically?)

Is this behaviour normal?

Thanks and br niklas

    hey

Yes, the behavior you're observing can happen in scenarios where users are required to access apps across different environments in Power Apps. Each environment in Power Apps is an isolated space with its own set of apps, data, and permissions. When users try to access an app from a SharePoint Online (SPO) link, the Power Apps environment doesn't switch automatically based on the app link. This means if the user is currently in a different environment than the one the app resides in, they might encounter an error message or be unable to access the app.

If feasible, consider consolidating apps into a single environment or duplicating essential apps across environments to reduce the need for switching.
