Hi,

my code sends an email with a url to open a new email, and within the body, it is cutting off the datacardvalue29.Text.

Why is this?

:%20%0D%0AOld%20Activity%20Owner:"&DataCardValue29.Text&"%0D%0ANew%20Activity%20Owner:"& DataCardValue41.Selected.Email&"

For example - if my Valus Ren Stevens, it shows "Ren" in the email. And doesnt show the next line after "Ren"(New Activity Owner). It just Stops at Ren.

but my value in my list is "Ren Stevens".

full code -

Office365Outlook.SendEmailV2(DataCardValue41.Selected.Email,"You have been assigned as a New Owner",

<a href=mailto:louis.stevens@gmail.com?cc="&DataCardValue41.Selected.Email&";"&DataCardValue52.Text&"&subject=Approve&body=The%20changes%20proposed%20for%20this%20control%20have%20been%20accepted,%20please%20see%20below%20for%20a%20summary%20of%20the%20changes:%20%0D%0AOld%20Activity%20Owner:"&DataCardValue29.Text&"%0D%0ANew%20Activity%20Owner:"& DataCardValue41.Selected.Email&" >Click here to Approve</a> <br><br>

 <a href=mailto:louis.stevens@gmail.com?cc="&DataCardValue41.Selected.Email&"&subject=Reject&bodyThe%20changes%20proposed%20for%20this%20control%20have%20been%20rejected."&" >Click here to Reject</a> <br><br>"

Hi @wonka1234 ,Check for the DataCardValue.Text no maximum length set:

@wonka1234 So does your datacard will only hold "Ren Stevens" or it hold below complete statement:

    @ANB  datacardvalue has Ren Stevens.

Actual image is the email body - it gets cut off at "Ren". Doesnt show Stevens Nor the next line after.

HI @wonka1234 , Apologies for late reply.

Not sure the root cause of this, however i can suggest a workaround for you. Instead of directly writing the html code for your href in your code, use an html control somewhere in your app and do not hide it, keep the width and height of this html control to zero and generate the body of your email as code in html control and just refer to the html control in your final code for sending the email.

@ANB  Sorry didnt see it -

so my email would look something like -

Office365Outlook.SendEmailV2(DataCardValue41.Selected.Email,"You have been assigned as a New Activity Owner",
    HtmlText2,
    {cc:DataCardValue14.Selected.Email&";"&DataCardValue52.Text&";"&DataCardValue9.Selected.Email&";"&DataCardValue8.Selected.Email&";"&DataCardValue10.Selected.Email&";"&DataCardValue11.Selected.Email&";"&DataCardValue12.Selected.Email})

getting an error on htmltext2. Expecting text value

@wonka1234 It should be like this: HtmlTextControlName.HtmlText

    Thanks,

    ANB
