co-authoring still locks edit mode for a single developer

We are experimenting here with the co-authoring feature in Canvas apps. Our experience with it is very poor.
For example, even with the co-authoring feature enabled, it is often not possible for two or more developers to work on an app at the same time. The first one who opens the app in edit mode can edit it. For everyone else, as before, the familiar message is displayed that the app is already being edited by someone else.
Clearing the browser cache, restarting the browser, restarting the PC etc. does not help.
Do you have the same experience?

Yes. Also having the same issue. Also if I manage to get in, then I try to save, I get the message that the app is locked for editing. Is there a solution to this?

    Hi @nsza
So far I have not found a solution to the problem. Even worse:
In the meantime we suspect that changes with Ctrl+S are partly not saved. Whether there is a relationship with the co-authoring feature, we have not investigated.

    Hey @Aedu ,

I faced with the similar issue until I figure out the sequence of steps for configuration. After I configure co-authoring step be step in the following sequence - everything was perfect.

    1) Turn on experimental feature

    2) Press "connect" in Power Apps tab

    3) Configure a repo in Azure DevOps

    4) Fill in connection tab in Power Apps

    5) Save and Publish the app

    6) Close the app, refresh Power Apps portal (this was a key step without which I faced the issue)

    7) share the app with co-owner

8 )open the app, edit, save, sync changes.

    Hope this will help! 🙂
