Auto number not available for selection when adding new column

I'm fairly new to PowerApps and I'm having a problem that I think is related to my PowerApps designer being in classic mode. I am trying to add a new auto number column to a custom table and when I go to select the data type, the auto number option is not showing. I'm not sure how I got into classic mode in the first place and was wondering if anyone knows how I can switch to the Modern Designer so that auto number columns are available. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello!

Access your environment by the https://make.powerapps.com. After that select you solution and your table and create the new autonumber.

Thanks for the response. I seem to have found the solution for this. It seems that if I create the table with a datatype of text and then save the table, I can then edit the table and select the datatype of auto number. I'm not sure if this is how it's supposed to work, but I'll do this until I find a better solution. Thanks for your reply, but it doesn't really solve the problem.

Did you follow the steps?

Open the https://make.powerapps.com

Select you solution

In Objects, select your table

click + New column

And now select autonumber

simple and easy.
