Power App with SharePoint List - dropdown pulling in "fill-in" values?

I am building an app that is pulling in data from a SharePoint list. One of columns I'm using is a dropdown column, which in SharePoint has the "allow fill-in choices" option set to YES. It is set this way because some of the users of the app are going to need to manually change values on the SharePoint side. I'd like those changes to be reflected on the Power App side when someone changes them in SharePoint, but I DO NOT want/need users to be able to provide fill-in options on the Power App side; I only want them to be able to choose from the "default" options on the SharePoint side.

Problem is, that last part is not happening. If you look at the settings for the SharePoint column, there's "Yes" and "No." That's what I want users to be able to select in the dropdown. However if you look at the Power Apps dropdown, in addition to the "Yes" and "No" options, it appears that in order to build the field options, Power Apps is looking at every row in the SharePoint list, and compiling a list of all options that have ever been selected for this column in any of the other rows. Even when filling out a NEW form entry in Power Apps, the dropdown-choices are populated with every choice ever made for that column, including fill-ins.

How do I get this thing to only offer "Yes" and "No" as options? I only want a "fill-in" option showing here if it's for an existing (not new) entry, because someone manually filled in that column on the SharePoint side.

    Nevermind, I think I got this one figured out.

    In the "Items" box:

    Filter(Choices([@'Third-Party Billing - Invoices'].'Email Invoice Now?'),!StartsWith(Text(Value),"Sent"))

    Placing this in the items of a dropdown, referencing a sharepoint list column of choices (that has  in it right now probably 50 custom choices) provides me only the two options requested as choices. You should also be able to do something similar

    Filter(Choices(Venues.Area), Value="Upper Lot" || Value="Will Call")

    narrowed down from a massive choice list like so
