Clock change - Power App Collection Date column showing wrong Time

Hi,

The clocks change on the weekend and now I have a problem with the Date/Time I cannot seem to correct.

A Sharepoint list is the source for my Power App with a Date column. These dates in Sharepoint are correct.

My Power App uses the SharePoint list and creates a collection. But as shown below Power Apps is for some reason adding 1 hour to the time.

Where within Power Apps can i amend the Time Zone to correct this?

My Language and time settings show no time settings!

Thank you

    Hi @Epidot ,

    Yes - daylight saving issues. Firstly Power Apps takes the Regional Settings from the user's device, so that needs to be checked. Your Regional Settings in SharePoint should look something like this

    Hi. I have tried variations of times on SharePoint and made no difference.  My computer time is correct also.  What I'm not understanding here is that the power app should simply display the date time that is in the SharePoint list. What is making it adjust that time zone... It should just display the field as it is in SharePoint right? I'm not asking power app to display the date time now, only asking it to display the value in the SharePoint list. I don't understand it.

    @Epidot ,

    The issue is with your local device and I have struck it before, but only on the actual day the daylight saving changeover occurs - when the field is date only, it displays the previous day. It actually saves correctly in SharePoint if the date is chosen in a Date Picker and I ended up hard-coding references to that date adding an hour.

    How do I hardcode to subtract an hour to power apps?  Is it easier if I make a new column in the SharePoint list, referencing the date time and subtracting an hour there or can it be done directly in power apps? Thanks

    Hi @Epidot ,

    This is an example of a Label in a Gallery using 1 April 23 as the target date

    If(
     Text(
     ThisItem.YourDateField,
     "ddmmyy"
     ) = "010423",
     DateAdd(
     ThisItem.YourDateField,
     -1,
     TimeUnit.Hours
     ),
     ThisItem.YourDateField
    )

    Thanks fixed it now with

    DateAdd(
    ThisItem.'Time Received',
    -1,
    TimeUnit.Hours
    )

    Guess i have to keep changing this every time the clocks change.

    Thanks for the help.
