Hi,

As described in Office 365 license guide, Office E3 License include uses rights for Power Automate ( Only standard connectors).

When assigning E3 license, it is possible to check or uncheck option "Power Automate for O365".

I did a test by unchecking this feature for a user account and i noticed that the user no longer see Power Automate in his office 365 apps list but he can still create flows if he access  Power Automate directly from this link   : https://make.powerautomate.com

What are this option used for ?

Any help will be appreciated.

Unchecking those boxes should prevent the user from creating flows and Power Apps. If you just made the change, it could take up to 24 hours to take effect. If users are still able to create flows, it might be due to a trial license or another license that grants them access. You can check their licenses in the Microsoft 365 admin center to ensure there are no other active licenses or trials.

Note, with the boxes checked, the person would still be able to go to https://make.powerautomate.com. However, if they try to create and save a flow, they will get an error that they are not licensed. Have you confirmed they can actually create a flow?

The "Power Automate for O365" option in your E3 license mainly determines whether the Power Automate icon appears in the Office 365 app launcher and app list. Even if unchecked, the user still has the license rights to create flows through direct URL access (make.powerautomate.com), making it more about visibility and administrative control than a strict access restriction.
