Filtering using Sharepoint system column

How do you filter using a SharePoint system column. I have a table I'm wanting to filter using the 'modified by' column in SharePoint. This way I don't need to have people in our organization enter their name. It's already obtained by the system. Thanks.

You can filter by the email address (the most unique) for the Modified by.

A formula such as this would give you what you need:

Filter(yourDataSource, 'Modified By'.Email = someEmail)

Thank you so much. Unfortunately, when the employees are using their computers their name is being captured in the SharePoint. The SharePoint does not capture their email address.

The formula I'm using is:

Filter(Source, StartsWith('Modified By', TextSearchBox.Text))

Of course it's not working. Thanks.

'Modified By' is a Person column. It includes ALL the information about the user - email, display name, picture, title, department, etc.

Filter(yourDataSource, 'Modified By'.Email = User().Email)

Thanks again. Except for the delegation message it seems to be working formula. However, no results are returned.
Reading what you wrote, as well as some other details I've gleaned in other posts, and I want to allow people to use a search box I tried the following formula.
Filter(Source,StartsWith('Modified By'.Email,TextSearchBox.Text))

This worked like a charm. Now I'll tell the staff to search by their username which is the same as the prefix of their email address before the companies domain name.

If you actually want to have the search based on the real name (display name)

Then you can change your formula to the following:

Filter(Source,StartsWith('Modified By'.DisplayName, TextSearchBox.Text))
