Hi! I'm looking to make our lab's sample submission easier and think that PowerApps might be the best solution. My goal is to have a link I can send to a customer that will allow them to fill out and submit a form. I would then like the form to populate a spreadsheet that is currently located on Sharepoint. Finally, I'd like the customer to receive an email back indicating the sample number (from the Sharepoint spreadsheet) and me (or someone from our lab) to receive an email letting me know that someone submitted a sample form. Does anyone know if this is possible with PowerApps? If so, any guidance on where I can find help would be much appreciated. I don't have any experience with PowerApps. Thanks!
If this is all you need to accomplish, it is possible with Microsoft Forms and the Power Automate integrations. Those are a couple of steps easier than Power Apps, in my opinion, and you don't have to worry about licencing issues with those external customers.
If I can make one suggestion: avoid using Excel as your data source here - a SharePoint List will function much better in the long term.
Yes! I used a SharePoint list. That was the only way I could figure out that would automatically assign numbers for incoming submissions.
Hi Kylie, I want to do something similar. I created a list for our internal customers whre they can enter sample information and tests requested. If you dont mind would you be able to send me an example of what you did?
I have just started exploring this option for my purpose. Any input would be highly appreciated.

Sorry for the delay. I used a Microsoft form and the Power Automate program would grab inputs from that and put them into the SharePoint list. Here is what my Power Automate flow looks like:
I hope this helps.
