Standard CDS entities

Hello everyone, using the PowerApps plan included in O365, I have set up a Common Data Service environment. I was expecting the CDS to be filled with all entities documented on the CDM page on GitHub. However, I can only see less than 100 entities in the CDS, even after I have created a new environment with sample data.

I have not found a way to import the other standard entities into CDS.

Is there any way of making all CDM entities available in CDS?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi @joe_hannes ,

Please check your account whether it only has Office365 license?

If  your account only has Office365 license, it’s not supported to use Common Data Service in PowerApps currently.

If you want to use it, you should have P1 license at least.

Here’s a doc about license for your reference:

Thanks for your reply, Phoebe Liu.

I just purchased a PowerApps Plan 2, assigned it to my user, and created a new CDS environment. I've set it up as a production environment and have created a CDS database.

However, the number of entities has not increased, and I#m still not seeing all the entities described in CDM. Any other ideas?

Hello @v-yutliu-msft, I purchased the PowerApps Plan 2 as recommended by you, and I still cannot see all the entities in my CDS environment that are listed on the CDM GitHub page.

    Can you please help?

@joe_hannes CDS does not have every entity in the CDM by default. Many of the CDM entities are part of our Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement plan and belong to our 1st party apps, but not the core CDS platform. To get all of the CDS entities, you should start with D365 CE, then install the respective app packages if desired.

Here is a breakdown of entity by app. Core is what's included with CDS.
