Power Platform pipelines were targeted to mainly business users making solutions and deploying them in Target environments.
Basically Power Platform pipelines are for everyone.
Microsoft doesn't want people to think like Pro dev and many donot understand the differences.
I donot think update will ever be part of the pipelines.
