Hello,
My powerapps "save" icon sometimes gets "stuck" on "spinning" mode, - the icon / button is not responsive in this mode which means I cannot save or publish.
Why does this happen? Is there any way to stop it happening so that I can save and publish.
I do not want to have to take the "back to sharepoint" option as I will lose all my work since the last save.

Happened to me twice today and it's causing me to lose work. I have auto-save enabled. My internet connection is fine.
This is not the first case of something in PowerApps suddenly becoming unusable and that can only be fixed by reloading the page. For example, I've had errors in formulas that should have gone away after I corrected them but only went away when I refreshed the page. And there was one time it hung with "Please Wait" just because I asked to add a text input to my canvas
It is not something I have experienced. As I mentioned however if you have autosave enabled, you can close the browser window and you will have the app saved at the last autosave.

One thing you can do is enable autosave, though when you do this and it gets "stuck" exit by closing the tab. Other than that, it may be an internet connection issue.
