What is the best option to layout groups of controls horizontally?

I am creating a horizontal filter panel as shown below.

My initial thought was that I could drop my groups into a horizontal container, but horizontal containers don't appear to recognize groups and just lay out the controls side-by-side. With the image above I am just using a standard container, but I find I have to manually place every single group and control. Is there an easier to achieve a what I want? Do I need to nest a multiple containers inside of the horizontal container to get the groups to lay out the way I want? Just looking for the easiest and lightweight way to get this done.

NOTE: This does not need to be responsive.

Thanks but that doesn't address what I am trying to do. Ungrouped, the controls still line up in a horizontal container right?

Instead of coping the group and pasting it in the container, UnGroup the Items and then select Items and Pres Ctrl+X now select your Container and then press Ctrl+V.
