Anyone who knows what it is? Google doesn't know.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi  @MagnusGöransson ,

Power Apps for Office 365 plan 3 is the PowerApps part in Microsoft 365 E5/A5, Just like the Power Apps for Office 365 plan in E3, you can find the relationship here:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/enterprise-users/licensing-service-plan-reference

Besides, if you want to know the function of PowerApps in Office 365, you can refer to this license guidance:

    https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2085130

Please refer to page 6 and page 25 in this guidance.

    Hope it helps!

    Thanks,

Is there a Plan 1 and Plan 2? Are the differences documented somewhere?

Hi, just wanting to make sure I fully understand the solution, as I need to give some licensing advice.

Basically ‘Power Apps for Office 365 plan 3’ under E5 is the “free” Power Apps version that is part of any O365 subscription?

It is not another level up from plan 2, but a level down from plan 1?

I find myself getting lost in this document you linked to

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/enterprise-users/licensing-service-plan-reference

    thanks for your help.

We are nearing the renewal period for our Office 365 E3 subscription, which means we need to purchase a power apps plan (currently grandfathered in) in order to continue using our app with premium connector. My questions is this...

Currently with our use rights provided through our 365 subscription, we are entitled to run unlimited standard connector apps. But I have been told by "sales" that once we subscribe to the per app plan (per user is overkill for us), then we will be limited to 2 apps per user regardless if the app uses a standard connector or a premium connector.  Is this true? So I don't pay for Power Apps (except through 365 subscription) and we get unlimited standard connector apps, but pay for a separate Power Apps subscription (and maintain our 365 subscription) and only get 2 apps total? Doesn't make any sense.  Does anyone have experience with this?

But what are the differences between plan 1, 2 and 3?

The first link just lists all the licenses, their codes and how to assign licenses in Azure.

    Is there some chart that say Power Apps plan 1 includes x, y and z; plan 2 includes x, y, z, a, b; and plan 3 includes x, y, z, a, b and c; or something to that effect?

I think you get unlimited apps with standard connectors and two with premium connectors for per app.

I don't feel like your question was answered.  Tragic since I have the same question.

My boss has asked me to look into Power Apps to develop some flows but honestly it seems like Microsoft can't even figure out the licensure on their products. Very confusing and I have seen in other threads that companies are paying for licensure according to the documents in the above links but that when their admins look at usages many of the products show as not being in use when allegedly the teams are in fact using the functionalities.

    Hi,

Could someone help me with the following query as i couldn't get clear information from documentation provided ?

What does plan 3 under my account licensing denotes?

    what are the connectors involved?

     pay/user and its validity?
