Gallery Used as Nav Menu but can't click content behind it

Hey All,

I posted in here a few days ago for help with Components but didn't receive a response so I decided to try my Gallery outside of the component (I have a number of Variables that HAVE to work but properties make no sense no matter how many threads I've read).

This Gallery works amazingly and is exactly what I was hoping for through my failed component attempt (minus the fact I have to have a "different" Gallery for every screen) EXCEPT that now I can't click anything it's on top of, which is everything from my menu down.

It's really starting to make me question the point of Powerapps even existing to be honest. Apps have menus, why is this not the simplest aspect?

GIF of issue, notice the menus work but I can't highlight or scroll anything on this version info page?

Is it possible to get my Menu which is a Horizonal Gallery with a Flexible Gallery inside of it to allow me to click on items behind it?

Thanks for the help!

You need to change the height of you gallery when you click on an item inside the gallery so it shrinks to just the size of the main entry.  Change the size to expand it again when you click on the menu entry in the gallery.  If you expand and contract the gallery that way it won't be in front of things when you want to click on them.

Thank you, I had forgotten that in the Component I had to create a separate label which had "If(varTabSelected = 0, 40, App.Height)" that adjusted its height. Working now!
