How to get a PVA report on Power Apps or Power BI?

Hi there,

I would like to know how to get a PVA report on Power Apps or Power BI 2022 version as of the version available has all different parameters and nothing can be found anymore due to the changes on the platform.

So, if anyone could point me out where to find or build a PVA report on Power BI or Power Apps that would be awesome.

Kind regards,

Fernando

    Hi @fernandosilva,

There is a custom analytics project on GitHub. Maybe you can use that as a starting point?

    Hi @Expiscornovus ,

As I mentioned on my first post, the versions of the solutions available do no match the actual changes of the platform, so the tutorial from the link you posted is not relevant anymore.

The github is poorly translated as there is not a step by step tutorial of how to make it work.

So, once again, is there a proper tutorial, step by step or something reasonable that anyone could use to get the PVA reports into Power Apps?

If not, I believe is time to do it as the platforms as constantly changing and something that was working 6 months ago it's  not anymore nowadays.

    Kind regards,

    Fernando

    Hi @fernandosilva,

Apologies if this is not entirely what you were looking for.

Like I mentioned I thought it was a good starting point since some of this concepts are still valid (using Dataverse, data flows, power bi reports) and parts of it you might be able to reuse to build your own solution. But you are right, it is definitely not a step by step tutorial.

I have not come across any other free open source step-by-step solution for this. If I do I will share and reply to this thread again 😃

    HI @Expiscornovus ,

Thank you very much for your reply.

I will try and try and try till I can get some result and then, if I get it I will post the solution where pertinent.

    Thank you,

    Fernando

    Hi Fernando,

I'm curious as to what doesn't work in https://aka.ms/PVAAnalytics.
I'm in the process of reviewing requirements for a V2 of that report, so curious to know what you'd like to see in it and what should be clarified for the setup process (the current report works for me).

    Thank you

    Henry
