Hi!
I am trying to find out who has permissions to a certain environment. For an environment without Dataverse it is very straight forward, I simply go to https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/, select my environment and under "Access" I can see who is Environment admin and Environment maker. I can also assign new admins and makers from there if I want to. For environments with a Dataverse database however, I always end up in some sort of Dynamics inferno where I get a list of all roles, or a list of all users in my tenant where I can assign them new roles. I can however never get an overview of all users that has been assigned a role in the environment. What to do?
Regards,
Helena
Hi @Anonymous ,
There is a standard report that has existed in Dynamics 365 for Sales forever and you can run this to get the mapping of users to roles. A good article explaining with screen shots here https://www.marksgroup.net/blog/dynamics-365-view-all-users-security-roles-at-once-with-the-user-summary-report/
Hope this helps!
Thanks,
Drew
You probably (but I'm not 100% sure) need to switch to the Classic interface, go to Admin->Security->Users and then run the report User Summary this will give you the users security role assignments. Unfortunately what that report doesn't give you is privileges that the use inherits via teams.
