Exporting Dataverse View to Excel

Hi guys,

I have a table in Dataverse from which I created a view. I wonder if there is any way to export this view to an Excel file. I tried exporting directly from the table, but the selection fields come with the number and not the description; the same happens with the lookup fields.

I know there is a way through a workflow, but as I mentioned before, the selection and lookup fields do not come with the correct information.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

inside a model-driven app you have the option to export a view to an excel file, is that one you tried? strange to me it returns wrong column names, can you post a couple of screenshots of the view and the excel file you are getting?

    Hello @GuidoPreite

    Thank you for your reply.

    There you go:

As you can see the Attorney and Approver columns are populated with the user ID instead of the user name, and ApprobalStatus column is populaed with the status ID instead of the status description.

    Thank you again,

from the screenshot you posted, looks like you didn't export this excel from a model-driven view.

I don't know the method you used to export this excel, but you have two options:

    1) use a model-driven view to export the excel

    2) check what you are using to export to excel and try to fix it, or explain the way you are getting this excel
