Sharing app with Everyone does NOT work

(0) ShareShare

After sharing a Canvas app with Everyone in the organization by typing "Everyone" in the recepients textbox, no member of the organzation received permissions or email invite to access said app. This has been attempted from both the Powerapps Mobile app as well as through multiple browsers.

We even tried using the direct web link to the app from a user that's included in the organization after sharing it with Everyone. This did not seem to work either.

It's worth noting that when sharing the app with individual users, using their organization email, they are granted access to the app. However, we are trying to share this app with a great number of users making it inefficient to enter email one at a time.

Please advise.

After adding Everyone to the app permissions have a user go to web.powerapps.com > Apps > Shared with Me and see if the App shows up there. If it is there then the issue could be with your data source because most data sources manage permissions separately from PowerApps.

    Thanks for the response Jeff.

So it looks like apps shared with Everyone in the organization actually show up under web.powerapps.com > Apps > Org Apps. On the mobile version of Powerapps, selecting All Apps seems to do the job.

    Hi @Souhaiel ,

    Have you solved your problem?

Yeah, you are right. When you share an app with an Org, the member of this Org could find this app via clicking "Apps" -> "Org apps" tab within PowerApps portal (https://make.powerapps.com).

If the member wants to see this shared app through Org, he must switch category to "All apps".

If you have solved your problem, please go ahead to click "Accept as Solution" to identify this thread has been solved.

    Best regards,
