Currency format

Hello

 

Nearly tearing my hair out here, cant seem to understand how to format my Lookup into currency.

 

The lookup is from an excel table and trying to get this into currency format.  Should show Month - £1,000.00.

 

LookUp(Table2,User=User().FullName).Month

 

Any help would be very much gratefully received.

    Ah £s 🙂 I am based in the UK we do this a lot:

    Text(LookUp(Table2,User=User().FullName).Month,"£#,##0.00")

    Give it a try let me know how it goes and if its your solution please accept it as such. This should format any decimal number, null/blank value and string into this format £0.00

    Hello

     

    Thank you but sadly it is not registering as currency.  I even added "£"  & but it is not showing the correct figure.

     

    For £10.50, it is just showing £10.5.

    hi @SilvermarD when the value is not in the thousands it will display as expected: "£10.50, it is just showing £10.5" is correct as per the formula. Please have a look when your value is more than a thousand.

    what datatype is the column in excel? there could be some issues with the formatting from that side. try make it into number/decimal number? let me know if that helps?
