Populated DataCard control titles in a drop down

Strange question - but is there a way to autopopulate a dd control with the names of the items within the datacard?

For example:

Datacard1

  • TextInput
  • Label
  • StarAlpha
  • ErrorAlpha

The four featured fields would then be options for a dd control (and, actually, I would only really want the 'input' fields for the form to auto populate.  Maybe collect all these fields OnStart somehow?

    Hi @tianaranjo,

Could you please share a bit more about your scenario?

Further, do you want to auto-populate a Drop down control with the names of the items included within a Data card control?

Currently, there is no way to loop through the items included within a Data card control in PowerApps currently. In addition, there is also no way to retrieve the name of the items included within a Data card control.

If you want to auto-populate a Drop down control with the names of the items included within a Data card control, I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs in PowerApps currently.

If you would like this feature to be added in PowerApps, please submit an idea to PowerApps Ideas Forum:

    Best regards,

    Kris
