Does changing the name of the app affect the connected datasources and flows?

Hi PowerApps Experts,

I would like to change the name of my App but I am hesitant as I have many data sources and services connected to the app like: flows, yammer, ..etc. My question is: Does changing the name of the app will cause problems on the connected data and services?

I've done this on one of my apps (Office365Users and SharePoint connector), no problem. I think the Name is just a display name, GUID is there for every technical aspects, just my thoughts, not 100% sur.

Hi @Anonymous,

The name is not the unique identifier of an app within PowerApps. The unique identifier of an app within PowerApps is the App ID (e.g. '56be5814-c648-49ca-90c9-b6db6aafdb72').

Just as @tchin-nin mentioned, the name of an app is just the display name of the app. When you change the name of an app, it would not affect the connected data sources and flows within this app.
