This app uses features that come with a Power Apps premium plan - Opening Canvas App created in Teams in the browser

Hi,

My colleagues are getting this error when trying to open an App created in a Teams space (in which they can open it without any problems) in the Browser.

The App is only using data from Tables created (according to me) in the Dataverse for Teams (Common Data Services Default solution).

Anybody any idea why they are getting this error?

Power Apps created with Dataverse for Teams can only be used inside Teams.  If you try to access them directly using a browser outside of Teams then it will interpret the Dataverse Tables as regular Dataverse.  Since regular Dataverse is Premium they are receiving the warning/error.

    Hey @Pstork1,

Thx! Didn't know that. But it doesn't give the error when I open that App in the browser. Is that because I'm the 'creator'? Because we all have Microsoft 365 E5 license and don't see any other difference.

It should give you the error either way when opening in a browser, but since you are the owner it may not do the license detection.  In regular Power Apps you can create an app using Dataverse and the creator can access the app because they need access to be able to create and test it.  But to use it in production still requires a license even if it doesn't prompt for one.
