Clarification Required - Wave 1 Classic Deprecation

Hi Microsoft and experts,

Deprecation of the classic look for model-driven apps
Starting in April 2026, makers will no longer be able to switch to the classic look in model-driven apps. All apps will use the modern, refreshed look by default.

Talking to MS support, he indicated it will include all header/navigation, which we believe it is still in Public Preview

Old headers and navigation
Classic headers and legacy navigation will not be supported once deprecation completes. There will be no compatibility mode or override available. While model‑driven apps remain supported, command bars must be aligned with the modern Command Designer, and navigation must be configured using the modern Sitemap Designer.

Is there someone who can confirm if the above is true? Will all users be forced to use the new headers/navigation? This causes a bit of panic at the moment.

Thanks!
