Activity of a Chat Bot in Teams vs Elsewhere - My Bot is disabled

Hi,

I'm not sure I'm posting in the correct location, however, here it is:

1. I have created a ChatBot using power virtual agents.

2. It leverages the databases in Language Cognitive Services, one English and one French.

3. I have been using it (chatting) weekly, as well as updating the databases.

4. I received emails from MS that it would be disabled in xx days, and it is now disabled.

5. The interesting part is that although the ChatBot is disabled, it still works.  I can ask it questions and it responds.

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks,

Alex

Did you build the Bot in the Teams PVA client or the Web PVA client?

Do you have a regular PVA license or did you build it with a Trial license?

    Hi,

I had to build it in the Web PVA, the options I needed didn't seem available in Teams.

I have been using a trial license, that has expired.

I exported the chat bot from the Web PVA and imported it into Teams.

Given that description the bot will fall under the regular PVA licensing.  That requires a license to create the bot. But running the bot is charged for a batch of sessions. You can read about it here: Pricing Plans | Microsoft Power Virtual Agents So although the bot will still work at this point, at some point MS will ask you to pay for the sessions you are consuming.

That's what I thought, I wanted to be sure.

What's the best way to track the amount of sessions that are being consumed?  I have been using the analytics in Power Platform Admin Center.

I don't really know of another way to do it other than Analytics.
