"New" Bulk Deletion Job button missing

I want to create a Bulk Deletion Job in a UAT environment, to clear down old test data in a few tables. However, when I go into [Environment] > Settings > Data Management > Bulk deletion, the "New" icon is missing. Also, note that no jobs are shown (whichever view I choose from the drop-down at the top):

The account I am using has the Power Platform Admin role, and this is what I see for my dev environment, using the same account:

Does there already need to be a job, in order to be able to create a new one? Or is there some setting that's missing?

Thanks,
Rob

In the UAT environment you will need to change your Security Roles as a System Administrator Configure user security in an environment - Power Platform | Microsoft Learn

Also I have a vide that explains how to set up recurring Dataverse Bulk Delete Jobs using Power Automate. How to bulk delete records in a Dataverse table using Power Apps or Power Automate (youtube.com)

I can confirm that I am missing the "New" button on all my environments I have the system administrator role on.

I can also confirm that this button has disappeared for me too at a time that I really need it. I also have system admin role.

Hi, I have a service account that has tenant wide Admin rights and was able to still bulk delete data. Ensure you have that level of permission and not Environment Sys Admin rights. Looks like there has been a change.

This is (was) a bug in the modern view of the environments. You can create new bulk delete jobs from the classic view of the data management screen.

Thanks for this hint - since I am struggling with the same issue - how to switch from https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/home to the classic view, to access this workaround?

@EckhardvKnorre go the environment url (looks like *.crm?.dynamic.com), then top right corner (cogwheel),and from there Advanced settings. Here you have a big "Settings" dropdown, where you can select Data Management -> Bulk Record Deletion. This goes to a legacy view that has the "new" option.

🙏you saved my week - I was in deep trouble - damned Microsoft bugs. Did / does somebody of you report this bug to Microsoft (unfortunately I didn't find a way to do this)?

@EckhardvKnorre You can report this via the PowerPlatform Admin center by chosing Help+Support.  We already reported this and based on the support feedback, the issue is found and patched, but no ETA yet on how and when will it be released.

You can access Bulk record Deletion via trying this work around

    1) Go into the Environment Settings

    2) Expand Resources and click All legacy settings

    3) Click Settings and then on Data Management

    4) Choose Bulk Record Deletion
