I’m part of a large dev team who had recently won a project for a large public event with multiple stakeholders attending said event. Each attendant requires an app interface that (once logged in) will serve user specific content and links them off to a separate workflow that exists via an api connected third party app.
We’re wandering if PowerApps could be a solution to use for the front end for this type of thing where potentially thousands stakeholders would be invited to use the app?
I’ve been told PowerApps requires an invite and licence per invited user so would potentially would not be suitable as there would be the friction of inviting a user to take out a licence first. Is this correct?
Any thoughts are very welcome!
Yes, PowerApps users need a license to use the app. I would think in your scenario this would be an expense you might not want to have.
I am not sure there is another way to go about such a deployment without those licenses.
