Form1 and Form2 use different data sources. Can I load Form2 data by selecting a related Gallery1 item?

I apologize if this is answered elsewhere, I couldnt find the right solution and I'm learning by YouTube and trial/error!

I'm trying get the data in Form2 to populate based on the selection in Gallery1 even though they are connected to different data sources. 'Project' in Table2 is a lookup field connected to 'Project' in Table1. Ideally, I wouldnt need to display the 'Project' field in Form 2 because it is redundant.

Can you help me "connect" Form2 to the gallery?

THANK YOU!

All data is coming from data verse tables

Using "dot" notation you can have the Datasource different from the second form but make the Item property of the form Gallery1.Selected.lookupcolumn2

In the screenshot below, the Orders table has lookups to Order details and Customer and the gallery on the left's Items property is Orders.  A separate form for editing and  inputting new orders is not shown but its datasource is Orders and its Item property is Gallery1.Selected

The upper form has 'Order details' as its datasource and Gallery1.Selected.'Order details' as its item property

the lower form has Customer as its datasource and Gallery1.Selected.Customer as its item property.

I'm sorry, I'm still struggling. My item property is:

    BrowseGallery1.Selected.'Project Milestones'

Where BrowseGallery1 is the list of projects from the IT Portfolio table and Project Milestones is the name of the table populating this "other" form. 'Project' is the primary name of the IT Portfolio table and is also the name fo the lookup field in the Project Milestones table.

Any guidance you could provide is greatly appreciated!
