Power BI Dashboard in Model Driven App

I have a model driven app that works very well. Now, I want to add a Power BI Dashboard to it.

The dashboard is in my solution. The report behind it, too.

But I can't figure out how to add it into the app.

If I choose new page, dashboard, it shows zero under Power BI Dashboards.

What am I doing wrong here? It doesn't make sense to me.

Please help.

    Hi @hildasteyn,

    As a very first check:

Click on Solutions via the Power Apps homepage, and click Publish All Customisations. If you already have your model driven app open in Edit mode, refresh the browser/close it and re-open it. Then try again.

    Hi @hildasteyn ,

If you have Power BI Dashboard created then you can get the Power BI Dashboard here,

    Hope this helps

Re: Power BI Dashboard in Model Driven App

Thank you. This did the trick. I added the dashboard into my model driven app, but I get an error saying I don't have access to the dashboard. But it is my own dashboard. That I built. And that I shared with myself just in case. Any more brilliant suggestions to help me over this hurdle now please?

Hi @hildasteyn - not something I have experienced, but then again I am also the Power BI admin on our Workspaces.

Could you share the error message?

One thing to check, there's two custom tables that the user (you) need access to. You might need to grant yourself read permission for these. This solved a problem I was having with users who I'd shared my Power BI report with but an empty box was showing for them in the model driven app.

Another idea is if you enable Inspect mode on your browser, look for an error messages and copy them here.

Here is a screen shot of the error.

I am the Power BI admin. I am the Power Platform admin. I created all the tables, and everything else.

How can I not have access to my own stuff?

And if I click 'request access', nothing happens.

@hildasteyn  - nothing else I can think of other than assume you have a Power BI Pro licence.

    @LinnZawWin may have an insight.

Re: Power BI Dashboard in Model Driven App

Sorry, I have never added Power BI visual into a model-driven app before.

I just tried it by following the documentation but it seems to be working fine for me (for a dashboard with just images without any dataset)
