I currently have a text input field in a gallery item that defaults to show the Quantity a customer originally selected but it currently is reverting back to the default number when I type in a new one and click out of the box or hit tab. The only way the new number sticks is if I click enter after changing the number and the curser is still in the box.
I do have an "On Change" code that updates a collection field if the number is changed. That works but only if you hit enter as stated above.

"Unbound" controls in a gallery reset when something like a Patch is initiated from the Gallery. You need to "bind" the control to a field in the gallery (if a collect you can use AddColumns) and Patch to this field at the same time.
