Unable to edit app (Endless load screen)

Hi there, hoping maybe someone has experienced this and can assist.

EDIT TO ADD: This same issue just happened in another app. Of note, both apps were published/saved Apr 30 around 9pm ET with Authoring version 3.24043.33 (On May 1, 3.24044.18 was active). Apps published during the "regular business hours" of Apr 30 seem unaffected by this and any that are saved all show 3.24044.18.

I have a managed solution in Dataverse that contains 2 apps, 2 flows, and some tables, security roles, etc. I'm a Maker in this Development environment.

Starting April 30, in the evening I tried to open one of the apps in my solution in "Edit" mode, and got a very long "Loading" screen. This does happen periodically to all kinds of apps, but it seemed to be only this app having this issue. I put it down, had the next day off, and tried to open again this morning with the same result.

I did some of the basic  troubleshooting:

  • Can I play the app? Yes
  • Can I edit other apps in the solution/environment? Yes
  • Do I have the right permissions? Yes
  • Tried rolling app back to a previous version (from April 26) but same issue
  • Tried in a different browser (Chrome and Edge are the only browsers our org allows currently)
  • Tried incognito mode
  • Tried clearing cache
  • Tried logging in as our service/non-person account
  • Had others on my team with owner permissions try
  • Tried to export the app from TEST (April 26 publish date) and import to environment as a new app -- same issue, and all of the above didn't resolve

I tried to look at the network log in Dev Tools and saw this, but not really sure what to do with it (See attached image)

I'm really at a loss here -- it seems there is something in this app that was broken, maybe with an authoring version update? The last published release (and last saved versions before I encountered this error) were in 3.24043.33 and I see that 2.24044.18 is available now in a separate app I was able to open.

Is anyone else experiencing anything similar (or have ever experienced this)?

Right now my only solution is to nuke the solution in DEV and re-import it (we have the .zip file from the export from April 26), but worried that this will cause issues. Certainly it would mean new links to apps in dev, but also possibly in PROD. Want to keep this as a last resort.

Is there something meaningful I can edit if I were able to export the app package and modify something before re-importing?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

No you cannot change anything because Power Platform checks for security purposes if the stuff was manually modified by you and then repackaged into a zip with your manual changes that were not part of changes actually made in the platform. If it detects that, your manually modified zip is rejected and the import fails even when it was repackaged correctly. So I recommend you instead file a support ticket with Microsoft here.

Thanks. I'm not the admin, and I did raise an incident with our internal team, and waiting for them to kick it over to Microsoft.

    Thanks for the response!

To anyone who may come across this, someone in another community asked if I had an Adobe browser extension. After disabling it, this issue is now resolved. I'm not sure what the specific link is, but hope this helps someone, somewhere.
