Hi everyone,

I tried to search in a Gallery and did it exactly like another time but this time I've got this Error Text: "This rule creates a circular reference between properties, which is not allowed. A property cannot reference itself or other properties affected by its value..."
What ever I tried to do results to this failure. The only thing that changes from the App that worked that way is that the first is an Excel Table in OneDrive and the other is on Sharepoint.

The method for searching was "Filter(PowerApps_PenInput,inpTxt_Search.Text in Name)"

Version: 3.22022.31

Thanks for your Help!

    Hi @LenKlim ,

    This code

    Filter(
     PowerApps_PenInput,
     inpTxt_Search.Text in Name
    )

in itself is not an issue, however what is the Default of inpTxt_Search.Text

You likely have two item dependant on each other.

    Hi @WarrenBelz ,

the default Value of the TextInput was an empty String: ""

And I think the reason for that failure is not the Filtercode I think it is because of the connection on Sharepoint. Are there any issues when you have the Excel sheet on sharepoint and not on OneDrive

    Hi @LenKlim ,

I am not aware of any that I have seen posted, but I do not use Excel with Power Apps - SharePoint is a much better idea if you have access to it.

    Hi @WarrenBelz,

I want to use Excel, because other persons are uses it in the meantime to change data and the App is for others.

I think the connection with Excel on sharepoint is bad, because on OneDrive it is working
