I imported an excel file and everything looks good except for a few date columns which come in as text. When I compare it to other date columns in the excel file that come in as Date, they look identical. Both are datatypes as of Date, with the same format too. yyyy-mm-dd
I am at a complete loss in how to convert a text to a date in the dataverse. I see there's no easy option unless I"m missing something.
1) if a column is text, then there is no way to make that column a Date unless you delete and recreate it that way
2) When you imported, was the column in Dataverse Text or a date? There isn't a way for Dataverse to put Text in a Date column it would have to convert it.
But you can put a Date in a Text column (as Text)
you didn't say anything about anything failing, so I am not sure what exactly you need help on since I cannot see the Table and verify the column Types
since they are not shared.
If the column is getting Data, then itis in in fact in the format of the column.. again you cannot shove Text into a Date field... if its there its a date value.
