Attachment Control not allowing videos on mobile device

I have an attachment control that I am asking users to upload photos and videos to while on their mobile device however while testing I cannot attach a video.

The options I am given are 'Take photo', 'Photo Library' and 'Browse'. Selecting any of these options allows upload for any other file type other than video. Is it a setting on my device?

I am using an iPhone SE.

Are you using the picture control to upload pictures or the attachment control from a form?
If you are using the picture control you will not be able to attach videos from your mobile as the validation will only allow image file
You will need an attachment control from an EditForm to upload any file type which includes a video

Sometimes the platform you are running your application have an effect on each control, operation

    Hi @Geeks_D,

I have a video which is less than a second long which isn't showing. The Photo Library only shows Photos and there doesn't seem to be an option to swap it over to show video.

I think its a setting on your device
You might want to check with all files when trying to select

    Hi @Geeks_D,

Sorry I'm not sure what you mean by that, can you please give me some more detail? Or point me to an article?

Just for clarification, here in my photos on the device you can see the red marked thumbnail is a video:

Then I come into my app and select attach file and select the 'Photo Library' option:

And I don't have the video option there, I only have photos:

You cannot directly select the video from your phone gallery. First you have to save your video to the File Manager(Files) on your iPhone and then you can choose the browse option to browse for the saved video in your file manager to upload the video file.

Currently, This is the only alternative as per my knowledge.
